Professor Niben Ninh
Title: Dean of the Spiritual Smackdown
Before he was an academic, Niben Ninh was the most feared—and confusing—man in the featherweight boxing circuit. Known as “The Velvet Hyena,” he holds a record that remains unbroken to this day.
Biography: The Unbeaten Champion
Ninh was famous for two things:
- The Eternal Shirt: He is the only boxer in history who refused to take off his silk dress shirt and blazer in the ring. He claimed that baring his chest would let his “inner fire” leak out too fast, causing the audience to combust.
- The Forehead Poke: While other fighters used hooks and jabs, Ninh used the “Finger of Fervor.” He would simply wait for his opponent to lung, then gently poke them on the forehead. The shock of “pure ecstasy” was so intense that opponents would immediately drop to the mat, twitching and laughing uncontrollably until the referee reached a count of ten.

Teaching Style: The “Ring” Lectures
Professor Ninh doesn’t use a classroom; he holds his lectures in a converted boxing ring in the basement of the University of Invisifact. He teaches that logic is a “heavyweight” that slows you down. To truly win at life, you must be light enough to be knocked over by a breeze.
- The KO of Common Sense: He trains students to “stay down” once they’ve been hit by an emotional experience. If you try to stand back up and use your brain, you’ve lost the match.
- The Hyena’s Cackle: His signature move in debates is to simply laugh at the opponent’s evidence until the evidence feels embarrassed and leaves the room.
Dean’s Note: “I don’t need a jab when I have a ‘just because.’ One touch to the brow and your entire world-view will collapse into a fit of holy giggles.”
