The Final Stand of the Divine Defender
I, the Undersigned, do solemnly swear upon the altar of Absolute Certainty:
- THE RULE OF INERRANCY: I shall never apologize for the Word, the Will, or the Wrath. If a text seems cruel, it is my heart that is failing, not the Divine.
- THE WALL OF NO RETREAT: I shall never retreat from a claim, no matter how thoroughly dismantled by “facts” or “data.” I will hold the line until the opponent tires of my circularity.
- THE DOCTRINE OF PERFECTION: I shall never admit a mistake. To admit a flaw in my argument is to admit a flaw in the Divine. I am the vessel; therefore, I am right by proxy.
- THE MORAL ANCHOR: I affirm that God is always right and God is always good. If the actions of the Divine contradict human morality, it is human morality that is a Willusion (the illusion of choice/agency).
- THE SILENCE OF THE WRONG: I shall never admit wrongdoing. If my methods are deceptive, they are “pious frauds” for a greater cause. If my logic is broken, it is simply “higher logic” that the uninitiated cannot grasp.
- THE FINAL DISMISSAL: I will treat all dissent as a moral failing of the skeptic, never a logical failing of the doctrine. Their questions are not seeking truth; they are seeking rebellion.
- THE ETERNAL REFLECTION: If a skeptic accuses me of lack of evidence, I will accuse them of having “blind faith” in science. If they accuse me of being closed-minded, I will accuse them of being closed to the “truth.” I shall always flip the accusation back upon the accuser so that I am never the one on trial.
